Permit Consulting & How to Obtain a Permit

Essentially, permit consulting involves a discussion regarding your specific project as well as several strategic points that will aid in jump starting the process. We know it's a long process, that's where we come in. It's our job to consolidate the permitting process for you so that you can obtain your permit with little to no hassle! 

• We start off by having a round table discussion about your project so that we can gather all of the information needed to help you get the best service possible

• After we discuss your project, we will send over a proposal detailing our services and fees for your project

• Once the proposal has been signed and agreed upon by both parties, we will then send over a list of everything we need to start the project submittal process

• Once everything has been received, we then conduct our inhouse review to make sure everything looks perfect for submission to the designated permit office in your area; once our review has been completed, we then start the application process

• Once we have completed the permit application, we will then submit your drawings alongside the application, we will then need to pay a filing fee to complete the permit submittal

• Once the city/county has received our application with the drawings, the review process will start 

• After the review process has started, we keep in direct contact with the reviewers on the project for each of the disciplines, whether it's via email or conference calls -- this insures accountability 

• Discrepancies that may arise regarding project plans are quickly corrected to ensure the process remains uninterrupted

• After corrections have been made - if any were needed - we will then resubmit the new drawings for re-review

• Once drawings have been reviewed and approved, we will then pay a final permit fee and we will obtain the permit alongside the approved drawings
