To simply put it, there is no fixed fee for a permit job. The cost of obtaining a permit relies largely on the type of project, how large the project will be (square footage), and fees from the city's permit-issuing agency. 

This too varies. There are a number of factors that go into the length of each individual permit process including how long it takes for your permit application to get reviewed and even what type of permit you've applied for. 

Along with that, commercial projects and residential projects have different approval timeframes. In its entirety, your permit application could take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months to get approved. 

Additionally, drawbacks do occur such as getting denied by the permit-issuing agency. We pride ourselves in getting permits approved the first time around, however, if these circumstances do occur, we work to quickly correct these errors to ensure your project stays right on schedule!

We're going to be completely transparent with you here, permitting is complicated. Your projects much each go through the approval process and because of that, challenges can arise when dealing with city and government agencies. Some of these challenges include the approval agency denying your project the first time around, reviewers taking longer than usual to review your project proposal, having to re-submit if necessary, or having to re-review your proposal.
